My Story
After completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in 2011, I realized my passion for nutrition could be more than just a personal interest and instead could become an avenue toward putting my most good into the world. A few years later I started pursuing a second career in dietetics. I completed my dietetics training through the University of Wisconsin in 2018 and my supervised practice through Mount Mary University in 2019.
I have supported low income mothers while working for WIC and medicare/medicaid recipients in the telehealth space by providing one-on-one nutrition counseling.
I advocate for a whole foods, plant forward, protein rich diet. I am a big fan of the MIND diet but I am happy to support patients pursuing a variety of dietary patterns as a matter of personal conviction.
I believe you can live a full and beautiful life in a body of any size. I enjoy helping patients reach their weight loss and sports performance goals but I don't believe weight loss is necessary for all people at every stage of life. You get to choose what is most important for you right now.
In my free time I love to spend time with my family, paint, read, and explore the outdoors.
